Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”- John 14:6
It is interesting that, about 2000 years ago, Jesus gave us a solution to all of life’s puzzles in one sentence but the majority chooses to ignore it. Instead of looking to Jesus for the answers, society looks to celebrities, substances, social media, affairs, false preaching, and financial schemes. Satan is laughing at us because we are so sinful and weak that we are falling right into his eternal hell trap. What we need to understand is that life on this earth is only temporary and all the riches, social likes, sexual partners, material things, and finding an identity are not going to matter on your final judgement day. Life needs to lived in the way God directed so we can have eternal life in heaven and not be among the wailing and gnashing of teeth in hell. God knows what we need, and He is faithful.
“Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” – Matthew 6:8
Live for Christ and He will give. But how does one obtain this? By believing that Jesus is your Lord and that he died on the cross for your sins and that He defeated death and darkness by resurrecting, and confessing of your sins to Him.
